What's not covered

  • Pre-existing illnesses

  • Any critical illness caused by self inflicted injuries, or from alcohol / drug abuse
  • Any critical illness diagnosed due to a congenital defect or disease

Yes, there are circumstances when a claim will be denied. For example, if the individual was diagnosed with cancer during the Waiting Period (the first 60 days after the policy takes effect), the cancer claim would not be admissible.
