Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation is part of the service that is provided under our Emergency Assistance Services Programme. In the event of a medical emergency, you may call our 24 hour Emergency Assistance hotline for prompt and free assistance. The emergency assistance agency will make the appropriate arrangement depending on your medical condition.

However, we reserve the right to decide whether your medical condition is sufficiently serious to warrant emergency medical evacuation, the place to which you shall be evacuated, and also the means or method by which such evacuation will be carried out, having regarded and assessed all the facts and circumstances of which the emergency assistance agency is aware of at that point in time.

If you’re travelling alone and have to be hospitalised for more than a week, our Emergency Assistance Services Programme will arrange for a Compassionate Visit for up to two family members or friends, subject to approval.

In addition to that, the Emergency Assistance Services Programme also includes free referral services to your nearest embassy, and assistance with directions when you have lost your passport or luggage. Please refer to the policy contract for the full list of referral services that are provided.
